When writing, foreshadowing can be a useful tool. Through dropping subtle clues you can hint to events that will happen later in the story. Used incorrectly, however, foreshadowing can also spoil future events. How many of you have used foreshadowing when creating an adventure or campaign? Did your players catch the clues?

I never use foreshadowing intentionally, because none of my adventures are planned, so I really can't foreshadow anything.

EDIT: Also, I think we should try and do all new threads in the new forums.
